Adrienne

BCBA, COBA / Clinical Director

About me:

I entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) 15+ years ago with a passion to help clients achieve successful outcomes. I gained behavior modification experience while working with Pre-school to high-school aged clients as a behavior technician in a clinic setting. I then pursued my Mild/Moderate Teaching License and worked in a Social Communication Unit for 5 years, while obtaining my Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. I have supported clients in the greater Dayton area since 2016 as a BCBA across home, community and clinic settings. I am excited to have the opportunity to further assist clients in the Dayton area through ABC Pediatrics!

Why ABA?

I became interested in the field of ABA shortly after graduating college with a degree in Communication Disorders. I quickly fell in love with my clients and the approach that ABA takes to help gain skills and knowledge for each client. ABA provides individualized programming to support the unique needs of each client and uses his/her interests to guide instruction. It is a privilege to help clients and families master skills and support his/her long-term goals for the most successful, functional, and independent life.

What do I love the most:

With a comprehensive approach, it gives me great joy when clients demonstrate independence. Supporting clients to become more independent, with daily living skills, helping clients make social connections, and training them how to express their needs is, by far, the most rewording aspect of my job.
