Mindy received her Bachelor of Arts from Bowling Green State University and her Masters of Speech Pathology from the University of Akron in 1995.  Since then she has experience working with pediatrics ranging from birth to school-age in private practice, hospital, school, and Head Start settings.  Mindy is currently leading our Comprehensive Feeding Program (Oral Motor and Feeding Skills) which provides feeding and oral motor services to the community.  She attended the MORE (oral motor) course in Albuquerque, New Mexico in February, 2005.

Sarah VanAs MS, CCC-SLP

Sarah received her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees from Miami (OH) University. She has previous experience in the areas of MRDD group homes and support living, augmentative communication, and Head Start and child Language programs. She uses multi-sensory therapy approach to facilitate optimal communication skills.

Lisa Sandora , MA, CCC-SLP, IBCLC

Lisa is a speech-language pathologist and lactation consultant. Her 20 years of clinical knowledge and experience include working with infants and children with speech and language disorders as well as feeding problems. Lisa has worked in hospitals, schools, and private clinics and her expertise includes working with former preterm infants. Her recent research looked at bottle nipples flow rates to help babies feed safely. She is a contributing author to "Supporting Sucking Skills in Breastfeeding Infants." Lisa has a Bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University and a Master's from the University of Cincinnati. As a Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Lisa is able to assist mothers and babies with breastfeeding problems.

Abby Voelkerding, MA, CCC-SLP

Abby graduated from the University of Toledo with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She has had a lot of previous experience in a variety of settings ranging from schools to hospitals to daycares. She is a fun, energetic therapist who enjoys working with children because they share the same energy and enthusiasm for life that she does. Abby joined the ABC team in 2008 and uses a child-directed, play based therapy approach to encourage optimal communication skills.

Sydney Mattis graduated from Northwestern University with her Bachelor's and Master's; she has been with ABC since 2008. Her interest areas include apraxia, verbal expression, pragmatics, SI, language development, and feeding.

Kaitlyn Galish, MA, CFY-SLP

Kaityln graduated with her Bachelor's and Master's degree in speech language pathology from Miami University. She has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders through working as a modified ABA therapist and had a younger brother diagnosed with Autism. She is also interested in pragmatics, social skills, AAC devices and developmental delays. Kaitlyn joined ABC in June of 2009.
