MULTIDISCIPLINARY 
ABC's therapy team includes expert speech, physical, and occupational therapists who work in the same treatment areas with their patients. Our therapy team works side by side, in order to accomplish the greatest level of achievement for each child. Whether the child is receiving one or multiple therapies, this approach promotes overall improvements in gross motor, fine motor, and communication areas. For example, our multidisciplinary approach allows a child who is receiving speech therapy to also incorporate fine and gross motor activities into their treatment in order to maximize their overall progress and development.

SPEECH THERAPY
Research shows that children are more verbal while doing gross motor activity such as swinging, climbing, or jumping...
Because our therapy is based in a "play" environment, ABC is able to see greater results than more "traditional" speech therapy approaches in the areas of speech, language, and feeding. These improvements carry over into activities of daily living.

OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPY
Our occupational and physical therapists incorporate a "child directed" play based therapy technique that allows the child to "choose" where the child and therapists "play" during their session. Our highly trained team of therapists then incorporate their treatment goals into the "play" that the child chooses. Our clinical findings show that this approach provides greater progress in the child's development than traditional therapy approaches which tend to be less motivating to the child.
